Jeanne Lanvin Fragrance by Lanvin, Fall 2008
This fall Lanvin is introducing a new feminine fragrance, which taps into the historical heritage of the house. The new perfume is called ”Jeanne Lanvin” after the founder of the couture brand. It will launch internationally in September 2008 following a first introduction in France in July.

The top of the silver cap of the flacon is decorated with the mother & daughter logo by Paul Iribe from the 1920s. But in a clear move to adapt to new mores and a new generation of consumers, the fragrance has been colored pink and made to smell “young” as an up-to-date fruity-floral. Top notes are blackberry, citruses and pear; middle notes are peony, freesia and raspberry; base notes are sandalwood, amber and musk.

Perfumer Anne Flipo, who created the scent together with artistic director Alber Elbaz, said, “I was aiming for something simple yet sophisticated – impertinent and young – mirroring the modern woman Jeanne Lanvin was,”…
Dubbed a “fruity gourmand” by Lanvin, it offers top notes of blackberry, pear, citron; a heart of raspberry, white freesia, peony; base notes are musk, sandalwood, and amber.
Jeanne Lanvin will be available in 30, 50, and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products.
